What Is The BDA?

The British Dental Association is the professional association and registered trade union organisation for dentists in the United Kingdom. Its stated mission is to “promote the interests of members, advance the science, arts and ethics of dentistry and improve the nation’s oral health.”

BDA Good Practice is a quality assurance programme that allows its members to communicate to patients an ongoing commitment to working to standards of good practice on professional and legal responsibilities. BDA Good Practice is a framework for continuous improvement. By becoming members, practices demonstrate a visible commitment to quality through good team working, efficient practice systems, and an improved patient experience.
